Patol ASD detects fires significantly faster than point or beam smoke detectors enabling a fast response to the first signs of fire. This early detection is particular vital to mission critical and high-risk applications.

Aspirating smoke detectors continuously draw air samples via pipework from areas requiring protection and evaluate them for the presence of smoke. The detector can be located outside of the area of risk, allowing discreet sampling points. This also removes the risk of vandalism to the detector unit itself Inaccessible or restrictive areas pose little problem as the detectors monitor large areas from a distance, so maintenance and servicing can be performed easily. The system will also operate in extremely low temperatures, offering even greater flexibility.

Due to its ability to differentiate between smoke and deceptive phenomena, Patol ASD delivers highly reliable results avoiding false alarms. If required, the system can be directly interfaced with a fire alarm control panel to provide automatic extinguishing.
